Mantas Mikuckas, an investor and Co-Founder of Vinted, co-founded the Total Defence Association with like-minded individuals this summer and now serves as its Chairman of the Board. The association aims to adopt a Finnish-style total defence model in Lithuania by 2030. This includes ensuring that 70% of Lithuanians understand their role in a crisis or war, 50% have a specific plan for the first 72 hours, half of companies and organisations are prepared for total defence, and universal conscription is implemented. At the LŪŽIO TAŠKAS/TIPPING POINT conference, Mikuckas and other entrepreneurs dedicated to bolstering Lithuania’s defence will present their strategies. He will be joined by Giedrė Kaminskaitė-Salters, Head of Telia in the Baltics, and Arnas Stuopelis, Founder of the Hostinger, both of whom are members of the Total Defence Association’s Board. The discussion will be moderated by Edmundas Jakilaitis, journalist, Head of the Strong Together organisation, and a Board member of the association.
