Goda Aleknavičiūtė, a doctoral student at the Faculty of Medicine at Vilnius University, has dedicated 13 years to her medical studies and is immersed in new research to determine the level of chronic inflammation from the IgG glycan profile—a method that has only recently reached the stage of practical application. This tool was introduced in medicine only a few years ago, following two decades of scientific research, and allows for the precise determination of a person’s biological age and level of chronic inflammation, as well as the provision of personalised recommendations regarding diet, physical activity, sleep, stress management, and the balance of micro- and macronutrients. At the LŪŽIO TAŠKAS/TIPPING POINT conference – a look at a medical innovation now available to all of us, allowing us to identify health issues even before symptoms of disease appear.
